Fare shown is per person based on double occupancy of the minimum available category. Airfare from the U.S. is not included. Included: all accommodations aboard ships per itinerary or similar, all meals and nonalcoholic beverages aboard ship, meals on land as indicated, most shore excursions, sightseeing and entrance fees, special access permits, transfers to and from group flights, use of kayaks (where available), taxes and service charges, services of a ship physician on most voyages, and services of an expedition staff. The published price is determined far in advance of initial departure on the basis of then-existing projections of fuel and other costs.
