Have you seen the newest in luxury cruise ships?

Justin Gibson

The next few years are an exciting time for river and ocean cruising as brands continue to launch new ships!

Nothing against some of our favorite ships, whose decks we know from bow to stern, but there is something thrilling about enjoying the new standards our favorite cruise lines are offering with the next round of ships.

REGENT SEVEN SEAS EXPLORER

This is the first ship from Regent since 2003, increasing their line to a total of 4 luxury cruise liners.  Like the Seven Seas Mariner and Seven Seas Voyager it will be a suite-only ship with 369 suites ranging in size from 300 to 1,500 square feet holding 750 passengers.

Every suite will have a balcony, extensive on board gourmet dining options, a world-class spa and the all-inclusive luxury atmosphere that Regent is known for doing so well.

“Seven Seas Explorer will surpass the current standard in luxury cruising, offering anew level of grandeur throughout the ship from its lavish suites to its elegant public spaces and gourmet restaurants.” said Kunal S Kamlani, president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises at the steel cutting celebration.

Pre-booking will begin in February 2015 and our team is ready to help you enjoy this new one of a kind ship!

HOLLAND AMERICA ms KONINGSDAM

February 2016 will mark a new era in cruising for Holland America Line fans with the new line of Pinnacle class ships.

The 2,650 passenger ship will be the largest in the fleet providing additional public space for areas like the culinary arts center, thermal pools, along with new areas just for tweens and teens.

“When guests come aboard ms Koningsdam they’ll know they’re on a Holland America Line ship, but they’ll see we’re taking a forward-thinking approach to many of the design elements,” said Stein Kruse, CEO of Holland America Group.

Booking opened in December 2014 for the inaugural sailings.

SEABOURN ENCORE

2016 will welcome the largest ultra-luxury ship Seabourn has ever launched with 604 passenger capacity and it will be followed by Seabourn Ovation in 2018. Every suite in these posh ships will have a veranda and continue with their exceptional level of service, complimentary wines and unique ports.

Understanding that many Seabourn passengers are on-board for an extended period of time the overall design remains similar to past ships, but the ambiance has been enhanced with touches that are designed to surprise and delight everyone for the duration of their voyage.

Seabourn President Richard Meadows says “Both words, Encore and Ovation, pay tribute to the tremendous success and outstanding accomplishments our current ships have achieved. They are perfect names to celebrate Seabourn’s expanding fleet.”
