Hey everyone!

Jan and Jerry here, just wanted to touch base with you and let you know we are underway on our next adventure! We hope you’ll join us as we host the Discovery Cruise on Regent Seven Seas Voyager from Greece, to Egypt, to Oman, to Dubai and Mumbai Then we travel southwest to Cape Town and around to Rio with our Cruise Specialists’ group.

We finish up December 18th in Fort Lauderdale, just in time for the end of the year. Because of our cruise dates, we actually sent out our Thanksgiving cards the beginning of October to let our family know we would be somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean on Thanksgiving Day this year!

The two-week period before we left, Jerry and I found ourselves in North Carolina for three of our grandkids’ soccer, football, and volleyball games over a long weekend. Three days later, we attended a 90th birthday party with my step dad on the Celebrity Mercury for four days. Following that, we hosted a retirement banquet and farewell luncheon for our church’s pastor of 25 years. And we squeezed in two more soccer games for grandkids in the Seattle area, too.

That gave us only one day to pack! Unfortunately, we forgot to pack cummerbunds and bow ties for Jerry and closed-toed shoes for Jan necessary for the Middle East…except one pair of tennis shoes and one pair of casual brown flats). Be sure to follow our blog and see what I come up with to go to High Tea at the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, where closed toed shoes they say are required! We are so ready for this cruise.
