See Alaska through the Eyes of Holland America!

Justin Gibson

If you think Alaska is just for people who enjoy the cold weather, think again!

This alluring destination is a treat to the senses. You’ll marvel at the majestic beauty that lies before you and above you, and will come away with an incredible sense of how big the world is and how small we are.  This revelation is as startling as it is humbling. It will leave you begging for more.Alaska humpack whaleThere is so much to see in Alaska that two out of three Alaska cruisers return within 5 years of their first visit.

It’s not called America’s Last Frontier for nothing. Imagine glacial landscapes that dwarf the over 700-foot ship you are standing on in Glacier Bay of or the scenic trails of Takshanuk Mountains.

How about spotting bears and mountain goats along the rolling hills or whales and dolphins alongside the ship? Breathtaking beauty awaits you at every turn. You can see it all with from the Lido deck of one of Holland America’s best ships.Sailing through the Hubbard Glacier
In 2017, Holland America Line celebrates 70 years in Alaska, with 7 ships cruising The Great Land – more than any other cruise line. The cruise line will offer 7-day and 14-day sailings that run from late April to late September.

Depending on your itinerary, port calls may include Anchorage, Juneau, Ketchikan, Sitka, Icy Strait Point, Homer, Kodiak or Victoria BC. Top highlights include sailing the fabled Inside Passage, and one or more of Alaska’s famous glaciers and fjords, such as Glacier Bay, Hubbard Glacier, Tracy Arm and/or the twin Sawyer Glaciers.

Whether you choose to stay on board and forgo excursions, or brave the terrain and head out into the wild, unspoilt land that is Alaska, you will be pleasantly surprised at how well the area rejuvenates you in mind, body, and spirit. Holland America brings you the best of the best in their Alaska cruises.
