Alaska was one of the most closely watched cruise destinations
heading into 2021. Local businesses, Alaska-hopeful travelers
and cruise lines rejoiced in May when the Alaska Tourism
Restoration Act was signed, making an abbreviated Alaska
cruise season possible. Holland America Line and Princess
Cruises both kicked off their Alaska season the weekend of
July 24th with roundtrip cruises from Seattle. We were ecstatic
to be at the port to wave bon voyage.
