After the debut of the ground-breaking Celebrity Edge, the cruise line turned its focus on other ships in its fleet and introduced yet another new ship, Celebrity Apex.

Celebrity Flora

The newest addition to the Celebrity fleet, Celebrity Flora, breaks ground as the first destination-built vessel, specifically for the renowned Galápagos Islands and their surrounding waters. This 100-passenger yacht strikes the perfect balance of luxury and extraordinary with many opportunities for relaxation and indulgent service. Passengers can control everything in their respective suites at the touch of a button. With full room automation, the Infinite Veranda can expand to provide guests with access to the open air and a personal suite attendant can be called for assistance.

The Celebrity Flora is equipped with an Oceanscope. Thanks to the long-time partnership with the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science, this advanced technology will enable experts to measure data about ocean circulation dynamics, temperature and more key information for predicting tropical storm patterns. All findings will be presented to the guests for their own enrichment—it will also become open source data, for any like-minded expert to use in the pursuit of scientific advancement.
