AmaWaterways Offers National Cruise Vacation Week Savings

Ralph Grizzle

Did you know this week is National Cruise Vacation Week? We have to admit it snuck up on us, too. However, you didn’t have to know this week was a special one in the world of cruising to take advantage of a special offer from AmaWaterways.

Between October 6 and October 13, 2014, AmaWaterways is offering $200 off per stateroom on any 2014 or 2015 river cruise departure for new bookings made during National Cruise Vacation Week.

Perhaps more noteworthy is the fact that this promotion can actually be combined with other promotions AmaWaterways has running currently, and it’s not just limited to AmaWaterways sailings in Europe. AmaVoyages departures – like those to Burma, the Mekong, Portugal, Russia and South Africa – are included in the promotion as well.

If you’re looking at making a new booking this month, the savings can really add up – particularly as AmaWaterways is offering up to $1500 off of balcony staterooms onboard numerous 2015 departures. AmaWaterways’ Balcony Celebration promotion is valid on all new bookings made prior to October 31. Of course, bookings made during this week would save another $200 on top of that.

It’s another nice gesture from a line that, really, probably doesn’t have to discount at all. AmaWaterways’ ships sail full the vast majority of the time, and the company has a loyal and dedicated passenger base. But one of the things that makes AmaWaterways so distinct is that they’re the big river cruise line that still thinks, behaves, and acts like a small upstart – eager for the business, and truly dedicated to pleasing their guests.

The best way to take advantage of these savings and this promotion is to contact your travel agent, who will have all the details on AmaWaterways’ current combinable promotions.
