Alaska Cruises are an Adventure!

Cruising to Alaska isn't just a vacation; it's an adventure into one of the most stunningly beautiful and wild places on Earth. And the best part? There are so many ways to experience it, making it perfect for just about anyone.

First, let's talk about how you can get there. You've got a few great options! You can do a classic roundtrip cruise from Seattle or Vancouver. These cruises are super convenient because you start and end in the same city, often visiting some fantastic ports along the way like Juneau, Skagway, and Ketchikan. They're usually 7 days long and give you a wonderful taste of the Inside Passage.

Then there are the one-way cruises, which typically go between Vancouver and either Anchorage (or nearby Whittier/Seward). These are amazing if you want to extend your trip with a land tour! You can spend several days exploring inland Alaska, visiting Denali National Park, riding scenic trains, and really digging deep into the wilderness. It's a fantastic way to see even more of this incredible state.

No matter which itinerary you choose, the highlights are breathtaking. You’ll experience incredible scenic cruising through fjords and channels, with towering, snow-capped mountains on either side. Get ready for glaciers – enormous rivers of ice that calve into the sea with a thunderous roar. Seeing something like Glacier Bay National Park or Hubbard Glacier up close is just awe-inspiring.

Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife viewing! Spotting whales breaching, eagles soaring overhead, or even a bear fishing for salmon on the shore is an everyday possibility.

And the towns are just as charming as the scenery is grand. You'll get to explore historic frontier towns like Skagway, with its Klondike Gold Rush history, or Ketchikan, known for its vibrant totem poles. You can go on a thrilling salmon fishing excursion, take a floatplane tour over majestic landscapes, or simply wander through unique shops.

Alaska is truly a bucket-list destination that offers adventure, natural beauty, and a chance to reconnect with the wild. If you've been dreaming of seeing those majestic glaciers and spotting incredible wildlife, give me a call. I’d love to help you plan your Alaskan adventure!
