Crystal Cruises to Launch New Expedition Yacht in 2020

Jonathan Hermann

Crystal Cruises knows how to do small-ship expeditions right. Since 2015, the Crystal Esprit luxury yacht has been escorting privileged guests to the Mediterranean’s most beguiling coves and the Caribbean’s most peaceful harbors. In 2020, the celebrated cruise line will expand their small-ship fleet with the launch of Crystal Endeavor™.

Crystal Endeavor is being billed as the world’s largest and most spacious luxury expedition yacht, and for good reason. Coming in at 539 feet, nearly twice as long as Esprit, Endeavor features enough space for 200 guests as well as six Michelin-inspired dining options.

More importantly, it was built to show you the farthest reaches of the world in unrivaled style. The Endeavor is classified Polar Class 6, which means it will safely navigate the world’s most remote regions, from the Arctic to Antarctica and everywhere in between.

And what will you do once you get to these remote regions? Sporting two helicopters, one submersible and a marina, it’s easy for guests to access immersive adventures on land, on water, under the sea and in the air—all lead by expert guides. You can go snorkeling near underwater treasures, get an unforgettable bird’s-eye view of a colony of elephant seals, or take a raft to explore beyond the shore.

You will be able to appreciate the amazing locales you encounter without leaving the vessel. Endeavor’s two-story, glass-enclosed solarium offers breathtaking views you can enjoy while sipping Champagne in the Jacuzzi. A pod of humpback whales swimming past, the Northern Lights igniting the sky—thanks to the ship’s anchor-free dynamic positioning technology, you’ll stay in prime position to witness the wonders of the world in complete comfort.

Endeavor will venture beyond the poles during its inaugural year. Throughout 2020, it will set sail on numerous, dream-fulfilling itineraries, including Island Explorations of Japan; Philippines, Borneo and Indonesian Quest; and Tasmania and the Fjords of New Zealand. This is beyond your travel wish list—Endeavor takes you to remote destinations and exotic places few have ever seen.

Crystal Cruises knows how to provide a sublime luxury cruise experience. We have partnered with them for 30 years, and they continue to deliver an exceptional guest experience. We look forward to sending you on this new gem of expedition cruising, the Crystal Endeavor.
