Crystal has unveiled exciting news that marks a major milestone in its storied history. The luxury cruise line, renowned for its exceptional service, world-class dining, and immersive itineraries, has announced construction milestones for its first new ship in 25 years, scheduled to launch in May 2028.
The steel cutting will take place in May 2026, followed by the keel laying in December 2026, officially launching the next chapter for the brand under the ownership of Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group.
“These milestones represent more than construction progress; they are a testament to our shared commitment with Fincantieri to deliver the most exceptional ship at sea, on schedule and with unparalleled attention to detail,” said Cristina Levis, CEO of A&K Travel Group.
The name of the new ship will be revealed soon, along with details on her inaugural voyages, suite categories, and luxury cruise itineraries by the end of the year. The inaugural 2028 season is expected to go on sale next spring, with waitlist access opening beforehand.
