Introducing Cross-Brand Loyalty Recognition Across the NCLH Family

By John Bell

At Cruise Specialists, we are always looking for ways to help our guests get the most value, flexibility, and recognition from their cruise loyalty programs. Today, we’re pleased to bring exciting news: beginning October 15, 2025, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (which encompasses Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, and Regent Seven Seas Cruises) will begin honoring loyalty status across all three of its brands.

This marks a significant enhancement in how guests can move between the brands and still preserve the benefits they’ve earned.

What the New Program Means for You

Cross-Brand Status Recognition

  • Members of Latitudes Rewards (Norwegian), Oceania Club, and Seven Seas Society will have their loyalty tier honored at the equivalent level on any of the three brands on a per-cruise basis.
  • In practice, if you hold a high tier in one brand but embark on a sailing with another, you will receive comparable onboard benefits, discounts, and recognition.

When It Starts & How to Request

  • The first eligible sailings begin October 15, 2025.
  • Guests can begin making loyalty recognition requests starting September 29, 2025.
  • Requests must follow specific terms and conditions (which will be detailed on each brand’s loyalty program page).

Benefits & Strategic Value for Cruise Travelers

  1. More Freedom & Flexibility

This change allows loyal cruisers to explore different styles and luxury levels without losing status perks. For example, someone with a high Oceania Club tier may choose a Regent voyage (for its all-inclusive luxury) or a Norwegian cruise (for a more casual, fun style) and still enjoy status recognition.

  1. Seamless Guest Experience

No matter which brand you choose, the loyalty recognition you’ve earned will follow you — from onboard discounts to priority services, wherever they apply under the recognized tier.

  1. Incentive to Explore All Brands

By removing the barrier of status “switching,” NCLH encourages loyal guests to sample all three brands and expand their cruise horizons across all 700+ destinations and 34 ships in the portfolio.

  1. Reinforcement of Brand Loyalty

This move underscores how seriously Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings takes guest loyalty and helps deepen relationships with repeat travelers.

What You Should Know (Important Caveats)

  • The status honoring is per cruise, not a permanent transfer of status across brands.
  • Not all benefits may translate identically — some perks are brand-specific or depend on availability or onboard policies.
  • Guests should review terms and conditions for each brand’s loyalty offering to see which benefits carry over.
  • The program recognizes status but may exclude certain “premium” or one-time benefits (for example, free cabin upgrades, exclusive gifts) from being honored across brands.

Tips for Maximizing This Opportunity

  1. Plan brand-hopping vacations. With status recognized across brands, you can sample the casual, modern style of Norwegian, the culinary focus of Oceania, or the ultra-luxury all-inclusive experience of Regent — all without losing your accrued rewards.
  2. Check benefit overlap in advance. Before your cruise, check which perks will translate (e.g. shore excursion discounts, spa credits, onboard discounts) according to the brand you choose.
  3. Make the recognition request early. Since the cross-brand honoring begins in September for eligible sailings, submit your status match/request well before embarkation to ensure benefits are correctly applied aboard.
  4. Use this as a motivator. If you’ve previously stuck to one brand to maintain benefits, now you have reason to explore across the NCLH portfolio.
