Known for both classic ocean voyages and immersive expedition cruises to the most remote corners of the globe, Silversea is enhancing the way travelers book by offering greater personalization in what is included in their fare.
On September 11, 2025, Silversea moved away from its earlier Door-to-Door, Port-to-Port, and Essential fares, and now offers a simplified and more customizable program called “Luxury of Choice.” This approach is designed to give guests more control—allowing them to pay only for the inclusions that matter most—while still preserving Silversea’s hallmark onboard luxury.
What Is Changing
- Fare types being retired: The prior pricing models—Door-to-Door, Port-to-Port, and Essential fares—will no longer apply to bookings made on or after September 11, 2025.
- Existing bookings made before that date are not affected; they will continue under the fare terms originally booked.
- Onboard luxury inclusions remain consistent. Regardless of which new fare option a guest chooses, they will still receive Silversea’s core all-inclusive experience: gourmet dining, fine wines and premium spirits, gratuities, butler service, and more.
