In all, Silhouette offers six restaurants plus a buffet and several snack and light-meal options. The main restaurant is the Grand Cuvee Dining Room, designed as a dreamy crystal fantasy by celebrity designer Adam Tihany. Another Tihany design, the Tuscan Grille, is an upscale steak-and-pasta venue.

I had the opportunity to visit and sail aboard the Seabourn Odyssey this past week while the crew and shipyard workforce put on their final touches to what is surely going to be one of the most celebrated cruise ships in recent decades.

The Seabourn Odyssey carries 450 passengers and has a crew to guest ratio of nearly 1:1.3….so with that kind of personnel taking care of guests, they are sure to meet and exceed their historic service standards, which ultimately is what makes or breaks a voyage experience.  However, the so called “hardware” is impressive as well.  There are a handful of innovative design features which passengers will find refreshing and fun.
