In March, I was fortunate enough to sail aboard the Seabourn Odyssey on a 12 day

Seabourn Odyssey
Mediterranean cruise from Lisbon to Istanbul. Pier check-in was a breeze and we were immediately greeted by the gracious Seabourn staff – white gloves and all.

My daughter & I boarded the luxurious, all-inclusive, Seabourn Sojourn in Ft. Lauderdale at the

Lisa and Guest (Seabourn Sojourn in the background)
Port Everglades cruise terminal (it’s not too far from the airport). We arrived around 2pm and embarkation was quick & easy. At the gangway we were met by smiling staff offering warm hand towels, Champagne & Bellini’s. As we boarded, we were met by a line of staff waiting to take our bags and lead us to our cabin. Nothing better than white glove service!

Seabourn Sojourn
About once every year Seabourn invites its top travel agency partners onboard one of its ships for a review of their products, to meet with executives and to remind us why we love Seabourn. I was lucky enough to attend this year and have the opportunity to sail aboard the all-new Seabourn Sojourn. We spent two nights onboard cruising around the turquoise Caribbean waters.

In July I had the pleasure of sailing aboard the all-new Seabourn Sojourn. Wow is all I can say – the ship is absolutely wonderful! It is amazing to me that this was only the third sailing for the Sojourn as the crew worked together like a well-oiled machine. The entire staff called you by name and they would bend over backwards to get you anything you needed. The wait staff easily remembered your preferences, for example if you ordered a drink while out by the pool; later in the lounges they would ask if you would like the same. Everyone had smiles on their faces at all times and looked to really enjoy what they were doing.

Celebration aboard Sojourn
The fanfare all began with a wonderful cocktail reception where Pam Conover, the President of Seabourn introduced the Seabourn Sojourn’s godmother, Twiggy. Twiggy then “pushed the button” to have the customary bottle of champagne break against the side of the ship, thus christening the ship.

Holiday Greetings from the Seabourn Legend.
While most of you are rushing around finishing last minute Christmas shopping I am lucky enough to be enjoying 2 weeks of ultimate luxury aboard the Yachts of Seabourn. I am currently hosting a charming group of guests aboard the intimate 200 passenger Seabourn Legend as she sails through the Panama Canal.
The ship currently has a total of 191 guests aboard, with an amazing 171 crew waiting to spoil us! The Seabourn Legend has beautiful, comfortable suites and the very best cuisine and service.

- Seabourn Odyssey in Venice
I had the opportunity to visit and sail aboard the Seabourn Odyssey this past week while the crew and shipyard workforce put on their final touches to what is surely going to be one of the most celebrated cruise ships in recent decades.
The Seabourn Odyssey carries 450 passengers and has a crew to guest ratio of nearly 1:1.3….so with that kind of personnel taking care of guests, they are sure to meet and exceed their historic service standards, which ultimately is what makes or breaks a voyage experience. However, the so called “hardware” is impressive as well. There are a handful of innovative design features which passengers will find refreshing and fun.
