The All-new Seabourn Sojourn Naming Ceremony

The fanfare all began with a wonderful cocktail reception where Pam Conover, the President of Seabourn introduced the Seabourn Sojourn’s godmother, Twiggy. Twiggy then “pushed the button” to have the customary bottle of champagne break against the side of the ship, thus christening the ship.
After the christening, we were escorted to The Restaurant, the beautiful main dining room, where a fabulous dinner was served with some of the best service I have ever seen on a cruise ship (not to mention the food). After dinner, dessert was served up on the pool deck with fantastic entertainment as well as fireworks that were second to none that I have ever seen.
It was an exciting evening to say the least and an honor to be able to be part of the naming ceremony of such a spectacular ship, the Seabourn Sojourn.
